Scale 75, Steamwars Series

Scale 75 has given us a beautiful, easy to clean up, metal figure. As for prep work and actual painting technique, please see my process on the Scale 75 figure - Jessica Thunderhawk (link), on our website.

This piece was interesting in that the composition (relationship of figure to base) was quit dynamic. Aside from the obvious reason I really liked it. The sculptors at Scale 75 are amazing and the detail on the casting was excellent. The were even able to cast deep recesses with out them getting plugged up (ie. the bottom edge of her shirt!) I really enjoyed painting this one.
