This is a complex and challenging resin, brass and white metal kit. It represents a British Army logistical support vehicle. The Foden DROPS was developed to supply forward artillery units with ammunition - Particularly AS-90 Batteries. It could operate at fairly high speed over rough terrain, dropping its Flatrack full of shells in less that 90 seconds; thus avoiding enemy counter fire. The castings are beautiful. I have nothing but high regard for the kits produced by Accurate Armour. They require discipline and patience; but the result is usually well-worth the struggle.
